Lecturer in Communication Sciences and Disorders

The Department of Language Science has open position(s) for qualified Lecturer/Lecturers. Successful applicants may begin as early as September 2026. Lecturers will be expected to teach one or more courses each quarter (up to five courses during the academic year) in areas related to communication sciences and disorders. These areas include anatomy and physiology of speech and hearing, speech/language/hearing disorders, audiology, clinical practicum, and related topics. Opportunities to teach one or more courses online may also be available.

We seek candidates with strong teaching credentials who can contribute to the quality of our undergraduate Language Science program, particularly in areas aligned with communication sciences and disorders. The number of courses available may vary by quarter and academic year.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in a related area. Clinical certification (CCC-SLP, CCC-A) preferred.
