Medical Assistant Medical Receptionist Rockville, MD Pay From: $22 Per hour MUST: 5+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant Experience assisting with exams and procedures GI experience a plus Comfortable reprocessing scopes Medical Receptionist experience or flexible to work front and be trained in front office including surgical posting Scheduling appointments Scanning reports and records into medical software Filing and preparing paper medical charts prior to patient's appointments Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships Strong clinical knowledge and confident in knowledge Strong charting skills and experience with EMR DUTIES: Medical Assistant -Receptionist duties include but are not limited to the thefollowing: Room patients Assist with exams and procedures Reprocess scopes Post surgical procedures Review co-pays and balances due Report to clinical coordinator or practice administrator Keep exam rooms stocked with medical supplies, maintain instruments, and prepare sterilization Ensure all related reports, labs and information are filed and scanned in patient's medical records prior to their appointment Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls Schedule appointments Request medica records and rest results Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
