Chevo is hiring an experienced Program Management (PM) Consultant to join our expanding firm in the Washington, DC area and support the U.S. Coast Guard Office of Systems Lifecycle Policy & Processes (CG-DCS-9). This position is a hybrid opportunity with the client site in Washington DC. Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner closely with USCG leadership, learning their unique mission requirements to provide trusted, strategic guidance.
- Support high-level acquisition governance reviews, executive meetings, and reporting activities to ensure alignment with DHS/USCG policies.
- Consolidate data from various sources and draft periodic status reports. Examples include. Documentation Status Reports, Meeting Schedules, Meeting Attendance Trackers, Action Item Trackers, among others.
- Review acquisition program documents and plans for content, consistency, accuracy, completeness and relevancy. Examples include Integrated Logistics Support Plans, Program Systems Engineering Plans, Operational Requirements Documents, Program Plans, etc.
- Implement policy updates and drive operational improvements across both major and non-major acquisition lifecycles.
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives, keeping stakeholders aligned in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

- A self-starter capable of managing multiple moving parts without losing attention to detail.
- Familiar with federal acquisition frameworks (ideally DHS/USCG), who can instantly translate policy into action.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of building trust with government clients.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience supporting program management, acquisition support, business operations, or consulting environments.
- Experience supporting multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Ability to work independently in a high-visibility client environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting DHS, USCG, DoD, or other Federal acquisition programs.
- Familiarity with acquisition governance frameworks and policy processes.
- Experience supporting executive-level coordination and reporting activities.
- Knowledge of acquisition lifecycle documentation and tracking processes.
