Freelance Product Retoucher (Contract) Location: Austin, TX (Onsite) Duration: Approximately 2 months, with potential for extension Schedule: Full-time contract engagement Overview A leading consumer products brand is seeking a skilled Freelance Product Retoucher to support its in-house photography studio team. This role focuses on high-volume Product Detail Page (PDP) imagery, ensuring products are accurately represented and visually optimized for digital and eCommerce platforms. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented retoucher with strong technical expertise in Adobe Photoshop and experience supporting fast-paced product photography production environments. Responsibilities Retouch and refine on-white product photography for eCommerce and digital channels Execute high-quality image editing and enhancement using Adobe Photoshop Ensure visual consistency across product imagery and digital assets Collaborate with studio, photography, and creative teams to meet production deadlines Maintain established brand standards for image quality, accuracy, and presentation Perform color correction, cleanup, compositing, and texture refinement as needed Support efficient workflows while managing a high volume of assets Qualifications Professional experience in photo retouching for eCommerce, retail, consumer products, lifestyle brands, or related industries Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop Experience working with high-volume product photography workflows Strong understanding of color correction, image cleanup, texture preservation, and product accuracy Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work effectively in a collaborative studio environment Strong organizational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting premium consumer brands Familiarity with digital asset management and production workflows Ability to quickly integrate into established creative and studio processes Additional Information This position requires onsite work in Austin, Texas. The initial contract term is expected to be approximately two months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and contributing immediately to ongoing workflows.
