Position Title: Lab Engineer Co-op
Duration: 4 months
Date: September - December
Location: Dallas, TX

Educational Requirements:
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.


  • Assist with scripting and automation tasks to improve lab efficiency and operations.

  • Support the setup, configuration, and organization of networking equipment in the lab environment.

  • Participate in customer testing and validation activities alongside experienced engineers.

  • Help troubleshoot technical issues and support problem resolution efforts.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to lab activities and testing.

  • A strong interest in networking, AI, and emerging technologies.
  • Basic understanding of IP or Optical networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation tools such as Python or Bash.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Hands-on experience working with networking equipment.
  • Experience in a lab or technical project environment.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced setting.
