Description
Compensation: $25 - $29 DOE OVERVIEW: Provide support to the Music & Worship arts department. Plans, develops and monitors all Salvation Army creative arts education programs and activities at assigned corps; researches new ways of involving the total Salvation Army congregation in active worship; explores innovative models of creative worship outside of traditional Salvation Army instrumental and vocal music; looks for ways to incorporate drama, interpretive dance, Christian contemporary music and visual media; maintains and develops a Divisional resource library of alternative programming ideas; develops and organizes pilot programs in the creative arts. The worship arts assistant is also responsible for organizing and leading the Divisional Worship Arts Ensemble(s). DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
