Leadtrainer must coordinate all training activities with the direction of the plant Safety Supervisor and plant Safety manager. To oversee all documentationregardingthetrackingofour training process as well as specific areas of our Safety & Health programsdesignatedby the Complex Safety Manager and theplantSafety supervisor.

Key Responsibilities



  • Follows direction ofShippingSupervisor to assign and instruct personnel of daily production duties


  • Provideaccurateandtimelyfeedback to supervisorregardingany issues or problems that may arise


  • Train new hireswhilemaintainingand promotinga safe work environment


  • Review for accuracy all records associated with product prior to being shipped


  • Inspect and ensure that product loaded on trailers meet specifications


  • Enter information into system asrequiredand ensure all outgoing paperwork is prepared


  • Position isrequiredto work before department start timein order toassistwith set up/department preparations


  • Accountable tomaintainpunctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours


Minimum Qualifications (Educations & Experience)



  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States


  • Must pass a background check, drugscreenand pre-employment physical


  • Must be able to use basic math and typing skills


  • Must know how tooperatea forklift and pass certification for forklift and pallet jack certification


Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Basic computer skillsrequired for date entry
  • High attention to detail when performing both repetitive and unique tasks
  • Organization, time-management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to ensure timeliness of all quality checks
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve routine problems and equipment/process issues using established standards
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain safety standards
  • Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to effectively interact across multiple teams
  • Ability to be flexible and resourceful in response to changing priorities and needs


Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Experience in manufacturing or production environment


Physical Demands

*Ability to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner

*Standing (8 hours a day or more)

*Lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling (up to and including 50lbs or more)

*Reaching overhead (up to and including 25lbs)

*Working at heights

*Gripping, grasping and twisting using wrists, hands and fingers

*Bending and stooping for short periods of time

*Working below knee levels for short periods of time

*Working above shoulder level for short periods of time

*Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus

Working Conditions & Travel Requirements

*Work is performed in a food processing plant with a high noise level, storage coolers/facilities.

*Position requires working around processing plant equipment

*Must be physically capable of working extended hours if needed and in a wet environment, standing for long periods of time, and operating processing equipment

*This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment while in the manufacturing environment

*The noise level of the office environment is usually moderate; the noise level in the manufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearing protection

*This position does not require travel
