Asan Exercise Physiologist,you will provide office stress testing support toassurehigh quality and service to patients.

Primary Duties:

• Activelyparticipatesin the direct delivery of patient care which can include performing cardiac monitor study hook-ups, home sleep testing,endovenousablation set-up, and port removal set up torenderappropriate clinicalsupport to the physicians and mid-level providers.Assistsin coordinating patient care with clinical staff by reviewing the patient schedule at the beginning of each day to ensureappropriate supportis available at the appointed times.

• Completes patient assessment byidentifyingchiefcomplaint, obtaining Review of Systems, updating medicationlist, completing vital signs, performing ECGs whenrequiredtorenderappropriate clinicalsupport to the physicians andmidlevelproviders.Interactswith patients, physicians, and staff by obtaining and communicating essential data andassistingother team members to coordinate the effective transmission of patient-related information.

• Maintains a regulatory/compliance environment by following organizational policies and procedures to ensure compliancewithstate, local, and federalstandards,and regulations. Maintains a safe office environment by following practice policies and procedures to ensure the office is in full compliance with OSHA practices.

• Providesdirect patient care by following practice policies and procedures to conduct stress testing including treadmill stress tests, nuclear stress tests, and stress echocardiograms. Reads and interprets EKGs.

• Reviews physician orders for appropriateness of testing before beginning stress tests.Verifies, confirms, andsubmitspharmacy refill requests by following office policies, whichincludese-prescribing, to ensureaccurateandtimelydrug therapy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field.

• 2 years post-graduation experience as a clinical assistant of exercise physiology; cardiology experience.

• CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation)certification.

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.

• Master's degreepreferred.

• ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) certification as an Exercise Test Technician or Exercise Specialist preferred.
