DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Casino Compliance Representative 1 for PGCB, your work will support the lawful and safe operation of gaming activities. You will help protect the integrity of legalized gaming while working with a variety of industry professionals and the public. Your responsibilities in this role will include:
- Monitoring Operations: Observe gaming industry operations, staff and patron activities, and review reports, documentation, and technology to ensure compliance with all requirements
- Using Industry Technology: Work with electronic casino gaming devices, including slot machines; use diverse types of electronic and manual recording and information systems monitored or utilized by PGCB in conducting compliance related activities
- Writing Reports: Gather and analyze information through interviews, observation, and monitoring work to identify incidents, suspicious activity, and violations; prepare reports
- Supporting Patrons: Respond to patron questions, monitor the gaming floor, and assist persons entering the Self Exclusion Program
- Initiating Enforcement: Refer or recommend administrative, legal, or criminal actions to other bureaus or offices within PGCB or Pennsylvania State Police (PSP)
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Shift work, 40 hours per week
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $55,436.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in a criminal justice, accounting or gaming related field; or
- Two years of experience performing gaming assignments related to slot machines, gaming software, surveillance or sports wagering; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Two years of experience in incident report writing
Legal Requirements:
- Employment is contingent upon the completion of a Personal History Questionnaire with a thorough background investigation, including drug screening and the subsequent review and approval by the Board.
