Job Title: Senior Equipment Maintenance Technician
Location: Lowell, MA
Employment: Contract (6 months)
Industry: Semiconductor equipment
Compensation: $ 36.00/hr - $38.00/hour
Schedule: 40 hours /week
About the Opportunity:
  • In this role, you will play a key role working towards the timely and quality delivery of Diode products.
  • Your responsibilities will include repairing and maintaining all production equipment in our wafer fabrication facility to ensure all equipment are available to meet production needs in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Your attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues on the floor will contribute to maintaining optimal production performance.

What You'll Do:
  • Performing the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, utilizing technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
  • Maintaining current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.
  • Studying equipment performance and reliability.
  • Establishing programs and solutions for increasing equipment uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
  • Providing technical support to the production operators and process engineering teams.
  • Defining and creating preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and cleanroom procedures.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 7+ years of experience in component level troubleshooting of analog and digital circuits.
  • 7+ years of experience in soldering and desoldering components on printed circuit boards.
  • 7+ years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair
  • 7+ years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing cable harnesses.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, piping diagrams and flow charts.
  • Ability to test and evaluate the condition of electrical components such as transistors, diodes, resistors and capacitors with an analog or digital multimeter.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to equipment safety and performance.
  • Experience working in Semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • Diode manufacturing and testing experience within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with MIL-PRF-19500 & / or MIL-PRF-38534 product manufacture
