Description

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

* General cleaning of ceilings, lights, walkways, ledges, beams, perimeters and racks

* Maintain and operate the powered floor scrubber in accordance with the cleaning schedule

* Empty and clean warehouse trash containers

* Maintain, clean and do upkeep on warehouse signs, fire extinguishers, drop stations and safety mirrors

* Clean warehouse equipment, stretch wrapper, dock pits and dock locks in accordance with the cleaning schedule

* Paint and maintain warehouse floor lines and walls as necessary

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Ability to operate forklift. Must pass Red Gold forklift operator requirements
Prefer prior sanitation and/or forklift experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

* On the job training regarding the operation of power scrubber, handling of chemical cleaners, and forklift operation

* Standing- to complete most all tasks

* Climbing- to get to parts department, when using ladder

* Must be able to work with arms above head for short periods of time

Must be able to lift 40 pounds
