Federal Civil Missions and Program Director

The Opportunity:

Serve as a senior leader responsible for driving mission delivery, strategic growth, and client engagement, including diplomatic technology modernization, global operations, consular systems, and enterprise IT transformation. Research, analyze, and understand mission requirements and emerging technologies. Develop execution plans to facilitate mission objectives and create new business opportunities. Grow, lead, and oversee technical and operations teams in support of mission requirements. Partner with other leaders across the business to identify opportunities and risks required to develop and deliver solutions that support business strategies to drive modernization within our client's ecosystem. Assume responsibility for current contract delivery and leadership for targeted capture opportunities. Work closely with federal government clients to shape and scope support for their emerging needs around technology modernization to accomplish specific mission challenges.

You Have:

  • 15+ years of experience leading large-scale federal technology and mission programs

  • 7+ years of experience supporting federal programs, missions, or enterprise initiatives

  • Experience leading opportunity shaping from early qualification through award and transition to delivery

  • Experience with solving federal challenges in modernization, legacy systems, operations, AI, and infrastructure

  • Experience in driving account growth, revenue expansion, and strategic partnerships across Federal Civilian or State accounts

  • Experience in establishing relationships across federal program, contracting, and mission stakeholder and supporting one or more of the following State Bureaus IRM, DT, CA, DS

  • Experience with supporting Agency missions, including overseas operations, diplomatic technology modernization, consular affairs, cybersecurity, or global enterprise IT environment, including IRM, DT, CA, DS, cybersecurity, and global IT operations

  • Ability to identify and analyze emerging regulatory and policy issues affecting the client and to forecast challenges and obstacles resulting from legislative and regulatory proposals

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience with driving technology programs, or 15+ years of experience with driving technology programs in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience leading and supervising multi-disciplinary staff and operational and technical teams

  • Experience in program management processes, including program planning, risk management, opportunity management, and financial management and international programs

  • Experience with business and federal contract development lifecycles

  • Experience leading captures for opportunities exceeding $100M and winning and delivering programs valued at $50M+ TCV

  • Experience managing executive-level client relationships and serving as a trusted advisor to government leadership

  • Experience delivering complex federal programs with strong customer satisfaction and mission outcomes

  • Experience improving delivery quality, employee retention, and program financial performance

  • Ability to grow accounts organically through new work awards

  • Ability to stabilize, modernize, and scale programs in high-visibility client environments

  • Top Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $185,700.00 to $345,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
