Electrical Controls Engineer

Godfrey & Wing is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team and help develop innovative automation and control solutions for industrial equipment and manufacturing systems.

• Design and develop electrical control systems for industrial machinery and automated equipment.
• Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC and HMI applications.
• Support system startup, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and service teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot controls-related issues and implement effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, schematics, and control system specifications.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to automation and equipment performance.

• Experience programming both Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC platforms is required.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation, controls, and electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with HMI development, industrial communications, drives, or motion control is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Engineering degree or equivalent controls/automation experience preferred.

• Competitive salary: $115,000 - $130,000
