As a Product Manager on our Wealth Products Solutions team, you willhelp shape digital experiences that give Empower customers greater clarity, confidence, and trust in their financial decisions. This role will focus onfinancialplanning, investing, and guidance experiences used across retail and workplace channels, helpingcustomersunderstand where they stand, evaluate their options, and take informed next steps.

The right individual will bring a strongtrack recordin product management,soundproductjudgement, analytical rigor, creativity, leadership, and the ability to collaborate across design, engineering, research, compliance, and business partners.

What you will do

  • Influence product strategybyidentifyingopportunities tocreate meaningful impact for Empower customers,helpingthembuild confidence and make progress towardtheir financial goals

  • Define and improve digital experiences that help customers understand their retirement readiness, investment picture, availableinvestmentoptions, and nextsteps

  • Ownandupdatekeyinvestment portfolio analysistools

  • Own the product roadmapfor assigned product areas,balancingshort-term delivery,long-term opportunities, customer needs,andbroader organizational strategy and goals

  • Bring clarity and structure to ambiguous opportunities

  • Obsess aboutproductdesign, partnering closely with designers to simplifycomplex retirement, investing, and financial guidance concepts into intuitive, accessible, and actionable digitalexperiences

  • Leverage customer research, usability testing,behavioral analytics,and market researchtoinformstrategyandimproveproduct outcomesand user satisfaction

  • Partner closely with engineering and design teams to increase team velocity, cohesiveness, and productivity

  • Inspire and influence leadership, peers, and cross-functional partners to drive buy-in and consensus

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams todefineproduct requirements, manage resources and dependencies, gain approvalsfrom legal, compliance, and business stakeholders, and lead the team through key milestones

  • UnderstandEmpower'sbusiness goals, the competitive landscape, and design products that align with our mission and vision

  • Define, analyze, and track key performance metricsacross engagement, comprehension, completion, conversion to nextsteps,user satisfaction, and business outcomes

  • Drive decision-making through customer insights, agile methods tovalidatehypotheses, quantitative analysis, andexperimentation

  • Execute at a fast pace with a focus on customer outcomes, the user experience, and learning with limited oversight

  • Constantly challenge the status quo andidentifyopportunities to move faster and more efficiently

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of experience leadingcustomer-facing digitalproducts, ideally in fintech, financial services, retirement, investing, workplace benefits, digital advice, or other regulated environments,whileworking collaboratively with engineering, design, and research teams

  • Exceptional prioritization and stakeholder management skills,with the ability to balance customer needs, business goals,legal and compliancerequirements, and delivery constraintsin a highly regulated industry

  • Excellent communication skills, storytelling, and organizational skills, with the ability to create clarity andinstill confidenceamongsenior leaders, cross-functional partners, and peers

  • Relentless follow-through, strong ownership,and commitment to doingthe right thingfor our customers and the business

  • Detail-and design-oriented,with a strong belief that small experience details matter when helping customers make important financial decisions

  • Passionate about tacklingcomplexcustomer and business problemsthat improve financial confidence and outcomes

  • Critical, analytical thinkerwho iscomfortable analyzing data,identifyinginsights, and translating them into product decisions

  • Experience in fintech, financial services, retirement, investing, digital advice, financial planning, or workplace benefits,withdemonstrableknowledge of industry best practices

  • Experience simplifying complex financial concepts into intuitive, customer-friendly digital experiences

  • Experience using customer research, behavioral data, funnel analysis, experimentation, and performance metrics to improve product outcomes

  • Comfortoperatingin a highly regulated environment with legal, compliance, business, and cross-functional stakeholders

Base Salary Range

$96,100.00 - $135,700.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
