The Business Analyst - Transportation position supports TTI's Transportation Organization by delivering focused data analysis, reporting, and project support aligned to TE Automotive products, customers, and markets. This role is responsible for supporting quoting and quote follow-up activities, developing and maintaining Transportation supplier KPIs and business review data, and collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Business Development, Product Management, Operations, IT, and Finance to collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple systems. The position translates complex data into actionable insights to support decision-making, drive process improvements, and advance Transportation team objectives while fostering strong working relationships with key Transportation Supplier stakeholders.

Our Business Analysts Team:




  • Serves as the lead analyst for Transportation supplier focused reporting and analytics initiatives, partnering with Transportation leadership and key stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize requests, design reports, dashboards, and analysis that supports Transportation business objectives.
  • Leads the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Transportation specific reporting, including quote activity, quote follow-up, revenue performance, pipeline health, design-win tracking, and other key performance indicators aligned with Transportation suppliers and TTI Transportation team objectives.
  • Collaborates with Transportation management to review, refine, and approve reporting concepts, ensuring analytical outputs are accurate, actionable, and aligned with strategic priorities before deployment.
  • Analyzes opportunities to simplify, standardize, and modernize existing reporting related to Transportation Suppliers by evaluating existing departmental and field sales reports and recommending improvements for efficiency, clarity, and usability.
  • Collects, integrates, and validates data from multiple internal systems and sources, leveraging various software and analytical tools to organize information, identify trends, and produce meaningful insights supporting Transportation Supplier programs and initiatives with TTI.
  • Works cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Pricing, IT, Finance, and Data Science teams to gather data, reconcile and ensure analytical outputs accurately reflect Transportation Supplier performance.
  • Partners with business users to validate report accuracy and relevance, confirming analysis meets business needs and support decision-making related to quoting, customer strategy, pricing, and program management.
  • Prepares data and insights for internal and external business reviews, including Transportation supplier performance reviews, customer presentations, and internal strategy sessions, ensuring alignment to defined KPIs and objectives.
  • Supports Transportation management requests for data and analysis to evaluate Transportation supplier business trends, assess performance against goals, and fulfill internal or external reporting requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key Transportation supplier contacts, strategically engaging stakeholders to understand evolving data needs and support collaborative problem solving.
  • Assists users of analytical tools and databases by troubleshooting issues, providing guidance, and recommending enhancements to improve usability and effectiveness.
  • Supports the TTI Quality initiative by working with department Administrative Assistant(s) and management to support more efficient reporting processes.


Education and Experience Requirements:




  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 3-5 years of related experience including solid business acumen preferably related to electronics distribution industry.



  • Knowledge and expertise with Power BI, Microsoft Office applications.
