We're hiring a Dump Driver to join County Materials Corporation in Weston, WI.



Job Summary:


As a Dump Driver, you will safely transport bulk aggregates and construction materials using a quad axle dump truck while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate deliveries, excellent customer service, and efficient daily operations.



Job Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Safely haul bulk aggregates and construction materials using a quad axle dump truck
  • Demonstrate professional customer service while interacting with customers and site personnel
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance, cleanliness, and ensure proper operating condition of assigned truck
  • Conduct pretrip, posttrip, and inroute inspections on all equipment, including securement devices
  • Confirm cargo type, quantity, and delivery destination; ensure all delivery tickets are signed and returned to the plant
  • Ensure accurate placement of materials at delivery locations
  • Transport product while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and established routes
  • Follow all company safety policies, including proper use of required PPE
  • Safely unload materials using approved methods
  • Maintain consistent communication with the Dispatcher regarding routes, deliveries, and issues
  • Act in a professional and courteous manner to maintain positive customer relationships
  • Maintain accurate records of daily driving and job tasks
  • Grease truck every 300 operating hours; grease box hinge pins weekly
  • Participate in weekly Toolbox Talks and safety meetings
  • Selfload with frontend loader as required
  • Attend all required annual training sessions

Experience & Qualifications:



  • Must possess a valid Class B CDL
  • Maintain an active DOT qualification
  • Minimum 2 years prior driving experience required; will train in Dump Truck procedures
  • Ability to perform will in a "Team" environment
  • Self-motivator and flexible to accommodate the workload and needs of the team
  • Safety minded when performing tasks
  • Ability and willingness to learn and be trained
  • Experience in the construction industry, equipment operation, skilled labor or general labor
  • Experience operating Front End Loader is a plus



Work Environment:



  • Work is typically performed in an Indoor and Outdoor environment.
  • Exposure may include moderate noise, weather, work near moving machinery/equipment, public interaction
  • Travel required: Intra-state travel in company vehicle, home every night.
  • Typical work hours/shifts: 40 hours per week, overtime expectations (seasonal), possible layoff in winter months.
