We're hiring a Plant Maintenance Supervisor to join County Materials at Roberts, WI.



Job Summary:
The Plant Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising maintenance technicians and overseeing all maintenance, repair, and servicing activities for manufacturing and industrial plant equipment. This role ensures production equipment operates efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime. Equipment supported includes production machinery, overhead cranes, hoppers, conveyor systems, stationary mixers, wire rollers, and industrial vibrators.


This position plays a critical role in supporting plant operations through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency repairs, and coordination with production teams.



Job Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Supervise, coach, and review performance of plant maintenance technicians
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with production to minimize downtime
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and is properly documented


  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues during production
  • Schedule and execute preventative maintenance programs
  • Perform emergency and unscheduled repairs to maintain production continuity
  • Conduct mechanical repairs and general-purpose steel fabrication
  • Perform welding for equipment repair, installation, and modifications


  • Service and maintain production equipment including conveyors, cranes, and mixers
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documents
  • Use hand tools, power tools, electric meters, welders, torches, and material handling equipment


  • Obtain quotes for parts and supplies and manage material pricing
  • Communicate with vendors to ensure proper installation and ongoing equipment maintenance
  • Install replacement parts and components as needed


  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
  • Enforce plant safety policies and procedures at all times

Experience & Qualifications:



  • 4-6 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience preferred


  • Boiler system experience
  • Electrical license or certification
  • Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards



Work Environment:



  • Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures
  • Exposure may include extreme weather, machinery, chemicals, public interaction, etc.
