Here's what we're looking for.



  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience troubleshooting industrial equipment, heavy equipment, or construction machinery.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and controls troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and hydraulic diagrams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Experience



  • 5+ years supporting heavy industrial or construction equipment.
  • Experience with asphalt plants, concrete plants, aggregate processing equipment, crushing equipment, or similar systems.
  • Advanced diagnostic and technical training capabilities.


Key Responsibilities



  • Provide remote technical support for asphalt plant equipment in a 24/7 support environment.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues.
  • Support equipment startup, commissioning, maintenance, and operational activities.
  • Respond to customer and field technician inquiries via phone, email, and CRM systems.
  • Document service cases, corrective actions, and technical solutions.
  • Partner with Project Managers to ensure successful equipment installations and startups.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to identify recurring issues and support product improvements.
  • Assist with warranty investigations, technical documentation, service bulletins, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Deliver technical training to customers, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Travel to customer sites for troubleshooting, inspections, commissioning, and training (approximately 20-25%).
