Shift Supervisor - Surveillance

Responsibilities:

* May perform duties of a Surveillance Officer.
* Observes activities of casino guests and employees.
* Monitors all casino operations, including table games, slots, cashiering cage and count rooms, by way of the closed-circuit television (CCTV) system for criminal activity and/or violations of NJ regulations and company policies and procedures.
* Records and documents such activities where appropriate and report the activities to appropriate officials.
* Monitors property alarms and communicates effectively with responding parties.
* Completes detailed incident reports and daily logs.
* Responsible for daily operations of surveillance shift, in absence of shift supervisor
* Assists with training and mentoring of surveillance staff.
* Promotes positive public relations.
* Handles sensitive information and maintains confidentiality.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* NOTE: EMPLOYEES MUST ADHERE TO THE REGULATIONS SET FORTH IN N.J.A.C. 13:69D-1.10 and 1.11 AND MUST SIGN AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THESE REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO BEING EMLOYED IN THE SURVEILLANCE DEPARTMENT.
* Keeps team well informed of property promotions and events.
* Develops highly skilled, successful employees, sets realistic and measurable service standards, and holds employees accountable for meeting them.
* Addresses employee performance issues, coaches for improvement, and provides ongoing feedback.
* Listens and responds to employees, recognizes and rewards individual and team performance.
* Consistently follows company policies, procedures, and industry regulations, maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records, and completes performance reviews timely.
* Supervises and trains Surveillance Officers according to standard operating procedures.
* Observes and records any irregular activities as required.
* Recommends policy changes to the Surveillance Manager.
* Completes special assignments for upper management as requested.
* Other duties as assigned.

• Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changes.

Target Salary Range:

• $28.84 Hourly

High School (preferred)

Must be able to identify those cheating methods and other irregular activities. (preferred)
Must know those methods of cheating games, and other related activities. (preferred)
Familiar with camera equipment and those methods of operation and recording as required. (required)
Must have a broad knowledge of games and casino rules, procedures, and administration. (preferred)
