Under direction of the Program Manager for Equipment Planning, this position serves in a dual role as a Medical Equipment Coordinator and Equipment Planner, supporting Asset Management, Equipment Planning, and Space and Move for projects. Coordinates surplus, transfer, and disposal activities, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, audit requirements, and sustainability initiatives. Supports storage area organization and maintains a catalog of available excess and redeployable equipment to assist operational and project needs, promoting resource optimization and cost efficiency. Coordinates and assists with the movement and redeployment of equipment to support project needs and timelines. Assists with medical equipment planning activities for capital projects, including new construction, renovations, and equipment replacement initiatives. Supports the preparation and verification of equipment lists, specifications, and budgets in coordination with clinical users, project managers, and senior equipment planners. Participates in user group meetings, design reviews, and construction coordination meetings to ensure equipment requirements are captured and integrated into project documents. Reviews equipment layouts, room data sheets, and cut sheets for consistency with project scope and clinical workflow needs. Coordinates equipment procurement tasks, including reviewing requisitions, tracking orders, reviewing vendor proposals, and supporting delivery, staging, and installation logistics. Assists with equipment fit-up and activation to align with construction schedules and operational readiness timelines. Supports site assessments, equipment validation, and evaluation of replacement needs, including research on emerging technologies and industry practices. Provides technical guidance under direction on equipment standards, infrastructure requirements, and compliance considerations. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $79,200 - $143,400 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $37.93 - $68.68 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). | |
