We are seeking a highly motivated Microsoft D365 ERP Senior Technical Implementation Consultant with 3+ years of experience in implementing Microsoft D365 and/or financial add-ons for Microsoft D365. The Microsoft D365 Implementation Consultant will work closely with ONESOURCE Project Managers and Tax SME to implement ONESOURCE Determination and Compliance tax software at client sites in Global Implementations.

You will provide customers with domain expertise when implementing tax scenarios, and connecting ONESOURCE Indirect Tax to Microsoft D365 applications including ERP, ecommerce and POS. As an Implementation Consultant you work with a project team to gather and defined business requirements and convert them into robust and flexible solutions. This position is unique as you will be exposed to customers from all different industries and their business requirements and operations.

About the Role

As a Senior Implementation Consultant, you will:

  • Serve as a primary interface with client tax professionals

  • Set-up, organize and lead business and user requirements sessions and formulate into design/solution documentation

  • Assist in the analysis and delivery of Microsoft D365 implementations that reflect an in-depth understanding of the client's tax requirements and compliance process

  • Engage with other Thomson Reuters teams as appropriate to deliver end to end Indirect Tax solutions

  • Ensure all Indirect tax related requirements are met

  • Explain ONESOURCE Integration for Microsoft D365 related issues/problems and solutions to non-tax & technical staff

  • Work with clients to translate their tax policy into ONESOURCE Solutions

  • Configure ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Integration for Microsoft D365

  • Execute personal working within a controlled project management environment

  • Work with Pre-sales on prospects and bid development

  • Work with functional & technical colleagues to deliver the implementation

About You:

You're a fit for the Senior Implementation Consultant role if you have:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Computer Science, or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of work experience with at least 3 of those years working with Microsoft D365.Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

  • Proficient technical experience implementing Microsoft D365 and/or Add-on Solutions

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues caused when multiple add-ons are installed; must be skilled in troubleshooting and resolving Microsoft D365 system issues

  • Experience with process analysis, design, mapping, and re-engineering, as well as process/software gap analysis and resolution

  • Experience creating and executing test cases and test scripts

  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft D365 application

  • Knowledge of APIs, Webservices (SOAP & REST), xml

  • Experience configuring transaction taxes and related master data within Microsoft D365

  • Experience with integrating third party enterprise tax products (e.g. ONESOURCE Determination, ONESOURCE Compliance, Avalara, Sovos, CCH, Sabrix, Taxware and/or Vertex) is highly desirable

  • Ability to write/modify existing integration software and integrate software applications and modules in accordance with agreed upon specifications, created in partnership with others

  • Object Oriented Programming experience is desired

  • Microsoft D365 Certification is a plus

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $74,200 USD - $137,800 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
