Job Description

This role is based in our Newton, MA or New York, NY office.

OMDIA helps its customers assess the marketplace, advance their business and amplify their presence in the market using our deep knowledge of tech markets and our actionable insights. We bring them unparalleled, world-class research and consultancy to navigate the now and create the future.

We're looking for a Key Account Manager to pursue net-new business and renewalswithin a set territory of customers looking to accelerate their business through the support of Omdia analyst and consulting services. As a trusted advisor to business and technology senior executives, you'll build long-term relationships with leaders who influence the growth of their business. By creating and orchestrating account penetration strategies, you will also anticipate client and prospect needs, understand what drives their success; challenge them to think differently; and provide highly valued business insights to enable clients to serve and grow customers. The role requires the willingness to learn and sell a wide portfolio of technology research, business consulting, and marketing services, to senior level functions within these accounts.

Specifically, this role requires you to:

  • Successfully grow an established territory of 10-15 Key Accounts, all of which have renewal business with OMDIA
  • Develop territory plan and sell competently across the entire OMDIA product suite (subscription, consulting, events, marketing services)
  • Achieve revenue targets, proactively responding to inbound inquiries and self-generated leads based on a deep market and product understanding
  • Reportaccurate forecasting and performance metrics to key internal and external stakeholders, highlighting revenue risks and opportunities
  • Achieve weekly performance KPI's to meet or exceed pipeline creation and grooming expectations
  • Work with the wider Omdia analyst and consulting teams to ensure that clients are delighted with the service they receive
Qualifications
  • 5+ years provensemiconductors or telecommunications industry experience within a consultative B2B environment.
  • Proven ability to drive new business.
  • Demonstrable experience/track record as a top performing individual contributor in a solutions-based B2B environment. Being a team player within a sales team beyond individuals needs..
  • Has an established network of clients in one or more sectors and proven track record in new business. Can identify new revenue opportunities and maximize product potential.

The salary range for this role is $90,000- $100,000 + commission, based on experience.
