Schedule: Monday - Friday (Standard Day Shift 8:00 - 3:00pm core hours)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to support a critical aerospace program at our client's facility. This role serves as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, suppliers, and program teams to ensure the timely procurement, delivery, and management of materials and services required to support project milestones.

In addition to supplier and material management responsibilities, this position will play an important role in developing, improving, and standardizing supply chain processes to drive efficiency, reduce risk, and support operational excellence throughout the program lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities:
* Work onsite with the client team to support supply chain activities for aerospace programs and projects.
* Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials, components, and services.
* Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and inventory requirements to mitigate risks and prevent disruptions.
* Track purchase orders, expedite critical materials, and resolve supply chain issues as they arise.
* Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program management teams to align procurement activities with project timelines.
* Review material requirements, forecasts, and production schedules to support program objectives.
* Develop, document, and improve supply chain processes, workflows, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and program execution.
* Identify bottlenecks, process gaps, and supply chain risks, and implement corrective actions and sustainable solutions.
* Create and maintain reporting tools, performance metrics, and process documentation to support visibility and decision-making.
* Participate in supplier meetings, status reviews, and program discussions.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on supplier performance, inventory management, procurement processes, and material flow.
* Maintain accurate records of supplier communications, order status, and supply chain metrics.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable aerospace industry standards.

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
* 3+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, logistics, vendor management, or process improvement.
* Experience working directly with suppliers and managing vendor relationships.
* Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, procurement practices, and process development methodologies.
* Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple functional teams.
* Ability to work independently in a client-facing environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience supporting aerospace, aviation, defense, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries.
* Experience with supply chain process mapping, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Familiarity with aerospace quality standards and documentation requirements.
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other process improvement methodologies.
* APICS/ASCM certification or similar supply chain credentials.
* Experience with supplier performance management, strategic sourcing, and material planning.
