Appian Developer Job Title: Appian Developer Location: Onsite Downtown Washington, DC Reports To: Program Manager Position Type: Full time / W-2 (FLSA Status: Exempt) Experience: 10 years (related) Education: BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a technical or related field (or equivalent) Clearance and Security: Active Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance, required. Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal. Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required. Compensation: The starting salary range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000, commensurate with experience. This role supports the execution of complex, mission-critical aviation and national airspace initiatives within a large federal environment. The effort focuses on improving the safety, security, efficiency, and operational effectiveness of aviation systems through the delivery of modernized technology, data-driven capabilities, and enhanced program execution. As the Appian Developer on this effort, you'll design and build the enterprise applications that keep mission-critical business processes and stakeholder relationships running. You'll own solutions end to end, turning complex requirements into clean, scalable applications on the Appian platform and carrying them through functional design, configuration, deployment, and testing. This is a hands-on role for a problem-solver. You'll integrate Appian with the systems around it using web services, FTP, JMS, and other web technologies, keep a close eye on the user experience so the tools you deliver are genuinely easy to use, and collaborate day to day with an Agile team.
