Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, patient focused Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Unit and make a difference for our patients and our community. This unit is a newly opened 12 private bed med-surg unit focused on inpatient medical surgical and cardiac telemetry patients. Therefore, our unit provides a widespread knowledge and experience base for our nurses. We are known for saving lives in our Level I Trauma Center, and our nursing staff are key to the exceptional care we provide each patient. As a nursing professional you will be empowered to manage your clinical practice and working environment through our Shared Governance Model, which focuses on evidence-based nursing practice. Our award-winning programs give our patients and their families a place of comfort and healing. We are proud of the care we give each and every patient. Work Schedule: 0.70 FTE. Straight evenings. All 8 hour shifts. Every other weekend rotation. Required Qualifications: -Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or Associate Degree in Nursing and 1 year of RN experience -Internal new graduate applicants can meet minimum requirements with an Associate Degree in Nursing -Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota Preferred Qualifications: -BSN/MSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN/MSN is obtained within 5 years of hire Benefits: Regions Hospital offers a competitive benefits package (.5 FTE or greater) that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, 401K with match, disability insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
