Acentra Health is looking for a Pricing Manager to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

The Manager of Manager is responsible for developing, analyzing, and supporting pricing strategies and cost estimates that enable profitable growth and competitive positioning across the organization. This role partners closely with business development, operations, finance, product, legal, compliance, and human resources teams to develop accurate, compliant, and executable pricing solutions for new business opportunities, contract modifications, and strategic initiatives.

The Pricing Manager serves as a key contributor to proposal development efforts by building cost models, analyzing financial risks and opportunities, supporting pricing reviews, and ensuring consistency with organizational pricing methodologies and governance standards. This role combines strong analytical skills with cross-functional collaboration to help position Acentra Health for success in federal and state healthcare markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed pricing models, cost estimates, and financial analyses for RFP responses, contract modifications, and strategic growth opportunities.
  • Support the end-to-end estimating process, ensuring pricing reflects operational delivery requirements, staffing assumptions, technology investments, and contract requirements.
  • Collaborate with business development, operations, finance, product, HR, legal, and compliance teams to gather inputs and validate pricing assumptions.
  • Perform profitability, sensitivity, and risk analyses to support pricing recommendations and decision-making.
  • Prepare pricing narratives, cost volumes, and supporting documentation required for proposal submissions.
  • Maintain pricing models, templates, tools, and databases to improve consistency, efficiency, and accuracy across estimating activities.
  • Conduct market research, competitive assessments, and benchmarking analyses to support pricing strategy development.
  • Support price-to-win analyses and business case development for strategic opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal pricing policies, proposal requirements, disclosure standards, and applicable government contracting regulations.
  • Participate in pricing reviews and present financial analyses, assumptions, risks, and recommendations to management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and help implement enhancements to pricing methodologies and governance practices.
  • Support client discussions and negotiations related to pricing structures and financial terms as needed.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts or team members, as appropriate.
  • Travel up to 10% as required.
  • Comply with all corporate policies, including HIPAA Privacy and Security requirements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in pricing, estimating, financial analysis, proposal development, or related disciplines within a government contracting environment.
  • Experience supporting pricing development for Federal and/or State government proposals and contract opportunities.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Working knowledge of government contracting regulations, including FAR and relevant contract structures.
  • Experience developing pricing models for professional services, technology solutions, healthcare services, or related offerings.
  • Understanding of multiple contract types, including Cost-Plus, Time & Materials (T&M), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), PMPM, and other unit-based pricing structures.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with a demonstrated commitment to accuracy and quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, Master's degree, or professional certifications (e.g., CPP, CPA, CFA, PMP) preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare services, healthcare technology, Medicaid, Medicare, or government health programs preferred.
  • Familiarity with price-to-win methodologies, competitive intelligence, and market analysis.
  • Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting SaaS, technology-enabled services, or managed services pricing models.
  • Knowledge of labor rate development, indirect rate structures, and cost allocation methodologies.
  • Experience with mergers, acquisitions, or integration activities is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in Lieu of Degree

For non-clinical roles, or when not required by the contract specifically, the Company acknowledges that practical, hands-on experience can provide skills and competencies equivalent to formal education. As such, in cases where a Bachelor's degree may be required, the Company will accept a minimum of six (6) years of directly relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree. In instances where the candidate has an Associate's degree, the Company will accept a minimum of three (3) years of directly relevant professional experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree.
