Access Control Monitor

POSITION SUMMARY

This Full Time position provides Access Control and Escort support for a classified facility. The hours of coverage currently available are for supporting the 21:30pm-05:30am shift on a Sunday-Thursday basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Security patrols, access control, security related personnel escort duties, traffic, parking control, law and order duties, as well as security and fire safety surveillance.
• Other duties as assigned.
• May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.
• Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have the requiredFull Scope Polygraphthat is current and can be verified.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Minimum two (2) years of access control and/or security officer experience.
• Read, speak, and understand English language fluently.
• Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms.
• Successfully pass an employment physical.
• Successfully pass all training and obtain required certifications.
• Successfully pass criminal record and credit report checks.
• Successfully complete a security interview.
