We are seeking experienced, member-driven candidates with leadership experience and a sales-and-service mentality, for the position of Member Engagement Specialist in Chantilly (VA). This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end online membership application process and initial onboarding, ensuring seamless, digital first member experience. Key Job Functions: Responsible for processing and managing high volume of online applications for new memberships and additional deposit products, including data validation, documentation review, and onboarding completion. Maintains a working knowledge of core systems (Meridian Link, Symitar, and related systems) to support efficient account opening and service delivery while identifying potential fraud risks or data discrepancies. Conducts prospective Member outreach as needed to gather information, clarify requirements, support timely account decisioning, and recommend relevant products and services to promote financial wellness and increased product adoption. Performs quality control reviews on all new account documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements. Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs., as needed, and requires extended periods of sitting and/or standing and to be able to use PC, copier, scanner, fax, etc. Required Skills and Experience: Three to five years of similar or related experience. Progressively responsible experience within a financial institution preferred. A high school education or GED. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Must be able to push, pull and/or lift up to 50 lbs., as needed.
