Goldman Sachs Select ("GS Select")

The GS Select Onboarding Specialist is a critical role within the firm's growing third-party wealth platform, supporting the onboarding of new lending and deposit products, including securities-based loans, refinances, and savings accounts. This role is central to delivering a seamless, efficient, and well-controlled onboarding experience for advisors and partner firms.

Role Overview

As an Onboarding Specialist, you will be an integral member of the GS Select team, responsible for executing key steps across the end-to-end onboarding lifecycle. This includes application initiation, term sheet coordination, and ongoing management of loans, refinances, amendments, and deposit account set up.

The role is highly execution-focused and team-oriented, requiring strong attention to detail, the ability to manage high-volume workflows, and close collaboration with teammates and cross-functional partners. You will play a key role in ensuring onboarding activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with risk and compliance standards.

Core Responsibilities



  • Support the onboarding of new securities-based loans refinancing, and set up of GS Select savings accounts, ensuring timely and accurate processing across workflows.
  • Manage a high-volume onboarding pipeline, tracking application status, driving timely progression, and proactively identifying and escalating delays or risks.
  • Prepare, review, and validate client documentation and data inputs, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to operational controls and compliance requirements.
  • Partner closely with Regional Banking Directors (RBDs) as well as Service and Operations teams to ensure coordinated execution and consistent advisor and client experience.
  • Serve as a key point of contact to provide clear guidance on onboarding requirements, product processes, and platform best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline onboarding workflows, improve scalability, and enhance both advisor and client experience.


Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in financial services, operations, or client servicing roles; exposure to lending products, deposit accounts, or onboarding workflows preferred.



  • Strong ability to operate in a team-based, client-centric environment with shared goals.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent workflows in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a high degree of accuracy and ownership.
  • Proficiency in Excel and operational systems; ability to quickly learn and navigate new platforms and tools.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex processes for internal and external stakeholders.
  • High degree of precision when handling client data and documentation, with a strong understanding of risk and control principles.


Education: Bachelor's degree required.
