The Office of Curriculum in the School of Medicine at the University of Virginia seeks a Curriculum Coordinator to complement our existing team. The successful candidate will be highly organized, attentive to detail, self-motivated, and possess the ability to work independently as well as contribute to a high-performing team. Our Curriculum Coordinators provide on-site logistical and administrative support to medical education courses. Coordinators participate in the planning, preparation, and implementation of programs, daily operations, and educational activities for students. The Curriculum Coordinator will provide administrative support to two medical education programs (Intersession and FCM 2/3) that deliver content to MD students. The Curriculum Coordinator will participate in the planning, preparation, and implementation of programs, daily operations, and educational activities for longitudinal and phase-based coursework. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills across all platforms, demonstrates a willingness and ability to learn, builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others, is resourceful, acts with a clear sense of ownership for their work, takes personal responsibility for their decisions and actions, and engages with others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity. Physical Demands This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. This job may require working 2-3 evenings per year and/or traveling some distance to attend meetings and programs. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. This is a non-exempt-level, benefited position. Learn more about UVA benefits. This position is based in Charlottesville, VA, and is eligible for a hybrid schedule in accordance with UVA's remote work guidelines.
