As an experienced Corporate A&P Mechanic (Licensed Mechanic II) you'll be supporting the maintenance and inspection of mid-sized corporate aircraft. In this role, you'll perform detailed airframe maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on a variety of corporate jet platforms including Learjet, Embraer, Challenger, Gulfstream, and Falcon aircraft. You'll work in a collaborative, high-performance MRO environment where safety, precision, and teamwork drive success. What You'll Do
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on business jet airframes and systems.
- Remove and reinstall turbofan and turboprop engines for inspection and maintenance.
- Conduct operational checks, engine runs, and leak checks to verify serviceability.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, landing gear, flight control, and other airframe systems.
- Evaluate removed components for serviceability; document and resolve discrepancies.
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical data.
- Perform fuel tank sealing and other specialized structural tasks as required.
- Accomplish Service Bulletins, Repair Letters, and Airworthiness Directives in accordance with FAA and OEM standards.
- Document all work performed clearly, accurately, and in compliance with StandardAero procedures.
- Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality standards in a professional MRO setting.
Position Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of A&P experience performing heavy maintenance on turbofan engine corporate aircraft.
- Experience performing heavy maintenance (C&D checks) on Gulfstream, Challenger, Falcon, Hawker, Learjet, and/or Embraer aircraft.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred Characteristics
- Experience in an MRO or Service Center environment.
- Factory-authorized training on Gulfstream, Falcon, Challenger, Embraer, Learjet and/or Hawker aircraft.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technical skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Proven ability to work independently while supporting team goals.
