Overview NaphCare is hiring an Administrative Assistant (AA) to join our healthcare team at the Montgomery County Detention Center in Montgomery, AL. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide clerical and administrative support to the healthcare team, helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the medical department. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping processes running efficiently behind the scenes. Responsibilities may include: answering phones, routing inquiries, maintaining records, processing documentation, scheduling appointments, assisting with onboarding and recruiting activities, ordering supplies, coordinating medical records requests, and supporting various administrative functions within the healthcare unit. Physical Capabilities: Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
