The Ovens/RTO Specialist will develop scopes of work and specifications for Ovens/RTO control modifications or new installations. A qualified candidate will direct and support Oven/RTO installation, debug and troubleshooting. The Oven/RTO Specialist will review electrical circuitry design and correct inaccuracies. This position will coordinate design, installation, validation and launch of conveyor system controls. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Chemistry or Manufacturing or other degree combined with equivalent work experience 5+ years of automotive paint manufacturing experience Experience with Paint Oven/Regenerative Thermal Oxidation (RTO) processes Strong communication and presentation skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint and/or Google Suite Ability to travel and work overtime as required Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of Oven/RTO control systems Experience with Oven cure application software Exposure to pretreatment, e-coat and primer/powder paint processes Knowledge of PFMEA Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing Knowledge of Focused Problem Solving Knowledge of Fiat Chrysler Systems (FIS, AVI, PFCS) a plus The Ovens/RTO Specialist will develop scopes of work and specifications for Ovens/RTO control modifications or new installations.
