The Opportunity:

The Internship Experiences Coordinator provides coordination and support for clinical experiences for the RN-BSN program within the College of Nursing (CON). Collaborates with faculty, staff, and clinical facilities to support clinical experiences that meet objectives of clinical courses. Coordinates clinical site onboarding activities and record management in appropriate databases.

Responsibilities:


  • Facilitate clinical site onboarding processes for students and faculty and work with clinical partners to ensure processes are up to date and accurate in conjunction with faculty.

  • Reviews and verifies student and faculty clinical compliance documentation and maintain compliance records to ensure documentation meets institutional and clinical standards.

  • Evaluate student and faculty records to ensure requirements are met by all individuals attending clinicals using DISA, PeopleSoft, LEAP*RN, and other databases.

  • Serve as frontline contact to collaborate with students, faculty, and staff for RN-BSN clinical placements, planning, and communication.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Demonstrated administrative experience within a Higher Education environment, supporting office operations.

  • Experience coordinating projects and tasks, including tracking progress, managing timelines, and communicating with multiple stakeholders to ensure completion.

  • Experience managing clinical compliance, credentialing, or on-boarding for healthcare students or professionals.

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data management, reporting, and correspondence.


The most successful candidates may possess the following qualities:


  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with faculty, staff, students, vendors, and external community partners.

  • Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and faculty.

  • Ability to interact professionally and provide courteous responses to inquiries from partners and external stakeholders.

  • The anticipated hourly rate for a well-qualified candidate is between $20.29-$24.85. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.
