The Opportunity

The Senior Director, HRTechnology role sits at the intersection of business priorities and technology execution, translating workforce needs into solutions that support how employees work every day.This opportunity is not solely about technology, this leader will bring a deep understanding of HR business processes,peoplestrategies, and employee needs, and technology solutions that support and elevate them. This leader will partner closely with HR executives to influence strategy and ensure technology investments align with corepeoplepriorities.

A key focus is designing seamless, end-to-end employee experiences by ensuring systems, processes, and touchpoints across the employee lifecycle are integrated, intuitive, and enabling employees and managers to do their best work.This includes advancing an AI-first approach across the HR technology ecosystem,identifyingopportunities toleverageAI-driven capabilities, both internally developed and through third-party platforms, to improve decision-making, automation, and employee experience.

Strategy

  • Define and execute the multi-year HR technology strategyin service of the HR priorities andaligned toATSand DEX priorities

  • Bring strong industry perspective andexpertiseto influence Adobe's HR technology direction, ensuring weleveragebest-in-class solutions that address global HR priorities and opportunities

  • Partner with HR leadership to shape technologyinvestments thatacceleratebusiness and people strategiesto drive a forward-looking, AI-enabledvisionforHR technologybalances future innovation with deliveryagainst current needs

  • Lead the design ofconnected,end-to-end employee experiences across the HR technology ecosystemto define and advance the HR data and architecture strategy, ensuring high-quality, well-governed data and scalable integrations that enable insights and informed decision-making

Execution

  • Own a broad portfolio of HR systems, including talent acquisition, talent management, learning, onboarding, core HCM, payroll, compensation, employee services, and HR data and analytics

  • Drive modernization and simplification of the HR technology landscape, including platform integration, data architecture, and end-to-end employee journeys to improve scalability, data quality,and user experience

  • Establish clear operating rhythms, governance models, and prioritization frameworks to drive execution and accountability

Leadership & Influence

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior HR and BU leaders, influencing priorities and guiding key decisions

  • Build and lead a high-performing global team across product, engineering, architecture, and operations

  • Strengthen leadership capability within the organization and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement

What You Bring

  • 12+years of experience in HR technology, enterprise systems, or IT leadership

  • Strong understanding of HR business processes and people strategies, with the ability to translate them into effective technology solutions

  • Proventrack recordleading large-scale HR technology or enterprise platform transformations

  • Deep knowledge of HR systems and platforms (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow, HR ecosystem tools)

  • Experienceoperatingin a global, highly matrixed environment

  • Strong strategic thinking paired with operational execution rigor

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders across HR, technology, and business functions

  • Experience building, scaling, and developing high-performing teams

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $174,500 -- $351,150 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $225,900 - $351,150

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
