Position Summary
The Social/Clinical Research Assistant will support activities of a faculty member's project that aims to critically synthesize literature across a broad swarth of disciplines towards publishing a literature review about health service utilization among men. This literature review is intended to provide a synthesis of literature for the field of health services research and provide next steps for health and policy scholars and practitioners to reduce the inequities and improve the health status of men in the United States. The assistant will also be responsible for drafting a protocol and screening of manuscripts and drafting of sections of the manuscript with guidance of the principal investigator.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preferences

  • Prior experience in men's health applied research or social science research.
  • Previous experience leading a published literature review.
  • Ability to support analysis and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative data
  • Experience conducting literature reviews or synthesizing research findings to support manuscript development
  • Ability to structure research lab meetings and productivity aids
