Technical Strategist, Senior The Opportunity: As part of our team, you'll serve as a strategic technical consultant to the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. Work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems. The Senior Technical Strategist is a role within ARPA-H's Director's office, with line of sight across every program in the agency, and supports the Director, Chief Medical Officer, Chief of Staff, and other senior leaders by serving as a technical filter and synthesizer. You will attend program briefings, scientific reviews, leadership meetings, and strategic engagements, engage with Program Managers across a wide range of scientific and technical domains, and help leadership understand what matters, what requires attention, and what actions should follow. A central responsibility of this role is translation. The most demanding part of the job is taking complex scientific, technical, and operational information and turning it into clear, concise products that senior leaders can act on quickly without losing what matters. You will prepare executive briefings, presentations, memoranda, talking points, background documents, and other decision-support materials, often on short timelines. We are looking for scientific range. You have gone deep in your own field, and you can engage credibly well beyond it. When the conversation moves into an area you have never worked in, you can still follow it, ask insightful questions, identify what matters, and quickly develop a working understanding of the topic. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
