Pipefitter Pre-Apprentice

Are you interested in an opportunity to earn a paycheck while learning the fundamentals of a skilled trade? If you answered yes, Cianbro has a great opportunity where you can take your first step towards a career in construction!

Selected participants will begin their employment on the job site within the trade of pipefitting. Participants of the pipefitter apprenticeship will learn cutting, prepping, and fitting industrial piping systems. Their focus will be on learning to work as a team, safe work practices, and developing the fundamental skills needed to assist with a specific trade.

In addition to the items above, all participants will learn how to take basic measurements, the proper use of hand and power tools, and equipment operation (aerial, scissor, and forklift).

Based on performance, these new team members will have the opportunity to receive periodic wage increases and endorsements into Cianbro's development programs, team members will continue to earn a paycheck while they learn and progress towards achieving journey-level proficiency and journey-level wages.

Location: Pittsfield, Maine. Travel is required
