Responsibilities The Genetic Counselor works with the Norton Medical Group Genetic Counseling Services practice. General responsibilities include:* Collaborates with Norton Healthcare providers and service lines to evaluate and provide comprehensive genetic counseling to patients;* Participates in all aspects of the Genetic Counseling Services including patient care, research, community outreach, and education;* Provides timely documentation in electronic medical record systems and communicates results effectively to patients and referring providers as needed;* Provides regular input and ideas for programmatic and personal growth and development;* Participates in departmental meetings;* Performs other duties as assigned.
