Application Window Open date: June 24, 2026 Next review date: Thursday, Oct 15, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Friday, Dec 24, 2027 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description Microbiology and Immunology - Faculty Position (Ladder Rank) - Assistant Professor SCHOOL OF MEDICINE - Microbiology and Immunology Description Candidates are expected to hold a PhD and/or M.D. degree at time of appointment (CV must list pending degree), and to have demonstrated significant potential in their field. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a compelling research program and to excel at teaching. The successful candidate will be eligible for membership in our many basic science graduate programs, including but not limited to Biomedical Sciences (BMS), and Tetrad (Cell Biology, Biochemistry and Biophysics, Genetics). Applicants should submit their curriculum vitae, a 1-page summary of research accomplishments, a 1-2-page description of future research plans, and statement of teaching. Applications will be considered starting October 15, 2026, and the position may be filled any time between May 2027 and November 2027. See Table 5 The minimum base salary range for this position is $126,800-$164,300.
