Why this Role Matters

Under the direction of the Senior Director, Compliance Officer, the Enterprise Risk & Business Continuity Analyst supports the administration and ongoing enhancement of the Business Continuity and Enterprise Risk Management programs and frameworks. Collaborates with business units to identify, assess, and monitor risks, and to support the development and maintenance of business continuity and resilience plans. Assists in evaluating enterprise-wide risk exposures, promoting risk awareness, and helping ensure alignment with regulatory expectations and organizational risk appetite.

What You'll Contribute

Accountability #1: Assist the Senior Director Compliance Officer with the overall Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and program.

  • Supports the ongoing administration of the enterprise risk assessment process, including facilitating risk identification, maintaining risk inventories, and assisting business units in evaluating inherent and residual risks.
  • Maintains the risk register and associated documentation, ensuring risks, controls, and mitigation strategies are accurately captured, updated, and aligned with organizational standards.
  • Facilitates and coordinates risk assessment discussions with business units, ensuring risk inputs, evaluations, and supporting data are accurately documented and aligned with the organization's risk appetite and tolerance levels
  • Supports risk reporting efforts by compiling data, preparing dashboards, and contributing to management and committee-level reporting.
  • Supports internal audits, external audits, and regulatory examinations related to ERM by coordinating information requests, preparing documentation, and assisting with remediation activities.

Accountability #2: Assist the Senior Director Compliance Officer with the overall Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR) program planning and execution.

  • Assists in the development, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the business continuity and disaster recovery frameworks, plans, and documentation.
  • Partners with business units to conduct business impact analyses (BIA), helping to identify critical processes, dependencies, recovery time objectives (RTOs), and recovery point objectives (RPOs).
  • Supports business continuity and disaster recovery testing exercises, including tabletop and functional tests, and assists in documenting results and improvement opportunities.
  • Tracks and monitors remediation activities related to BCP/DR testing and actual events to support continuous improvement.
  • Supports incident response efforts and team, as needed, including documentation, communication coordination, and post-event analysis.
  • Supports internal audits, external audits, and regulatory examinations related to BCP/DR by coordinating information requests, preparing documentation, and assisting with remediation activities.

Accountability #3: Maintain technical and professional knowledge.

  • Maintains current knowledge of ERM frameworks, business continuity standards, and evolving regulatory expectations relevant to financial services.
  • Participates in training, workshops, webinars, and industry forums to stay informed of emerging risks and leading practices.
  • Completes required training and pursues professional development opportunities related to risk management, business continuity, and resilience.

Other Duties:

  • Performs other tasks or functions as required, requested, necessary, or prudent.
  • Adhere to all WCU policies and procedures which include security compliance and following guidelines intended to limit risk exposure to fraud and losses.
  • Participates in department and/or organizational projects as directed.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all members and credit union information and data.

What You'll Bring

Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree or compliance specific industry certifications, preferred.

Experience:

  • At least two (2) years of experience working in a financial institution.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies:

  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • General knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery concepts, including business impact analysis and recovery planning.
  • Ability to facilitate and coordinate risk assessment discussions with business units in a collaborative and constructive manner.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build partnerships across the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of financial institution operations, products, services, and associated risks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience working with risk management or governance tools is a plus.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment, professionalism, and a proactive approach to supporting a strong risk culture.
  • Regularly demonstrates behaviors aligned with the Workers culture.

  • Hybrid Work Environment: This position offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote work with regular on-site days at the Littleton Headquarters. This work environment is subject to change based on business needs.

Compensation

Pay Grade: 09NE

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Pay Grade Range: $27.51 - $34.39

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted pay grade range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
