Student Worker 2

The Department of Medicine is seeking a Student Worker to support laboratory operations and clinical research activities. Responsibilities include assisting with laboratory maintenance, such as inventory management, supply ordering, cleaning, and freezer organization, as well as processing research specimens, primarily stool samples collected through clinical studies. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in a collaborative academic research environment.

Hourly range: $18.80-$31.00

Required:

• Demonstrated ability to set and meet internal deadlines, work independently, use judgment and make decisions
• Ability to organize and update paperwork with supervision
• Registered UCLA student
• Ability to use a personal computer and basic computer applications.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills..
• Ability to maintain complete and accurate records.
• Self -Motivated

Preferred:

• High School Diploma and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 0-1 years of related experience or training
