Position Summary The Residential Monitor is responsible for providing direct supervision to transitional aged youth (TAY) enrolled in the Transitional Housing, Crisis, Bridge, and Enhanced Emergency Shelter programs, with the ultimate goal of helping participants transition to permanent housing. The Residential Monitor's role is to promote independent living skills and self-sufficiency of all clients served. Essential Functions
Working Conditions Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead. Ability to operate computer, fax and telephone. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Minimum Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Education
High School or Equivalent (required)
Experience
Education or experience working with TAY, individuals experiencing homelessness, mental illness, substance use disorders, or co-occurring disorders preferred (required)
Must be TB cleared & provide documentation annually (required) Licenses & Certifications
Driver's License (required)
