Product Development Coordinator

About the Role

We're looking for a Product Development Coordinator to support the execution of the product lifecycle and act as a key partner to Design, Production, and Sourcing teams. This role plays a critical part in bringing products from concept through development and into production.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and enjoys working cross-functionally to deliver high-quality products on time.

What You'll Do

  • Support the end-to-end product development process, from concept through sampling and pre-production
  • Track and manage sample development, ensuring prototypes and key samples are delivered on time
  • Build and maintain Time & Action (T&A) calendars to keep programs on schedule
  • Partner with vendors and mills to monitor progress and resolve issues related to timelines or quality
  • Enter, track, and validate product costing data, identifying and escalating discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate product information across systems and tools
  • Collaborate closely with Design, Pre-Production, and Production teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Proactively communicate risks and help drive solutions to keep development on track

What We're Looking For

  • 1-3+ years of experience in product development, production, sourcing, or merchandising operations (apparel or related industry preferred)
  • Experience supporting sample tracking, prototype management, or product lifecycle processes
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple styles, deadlines, and priorities
  • Comfortable working with vendors and cross-functional partners
  • Experience with cost tracking, BOMs, or product data management
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or similar tools for tracking and reporting
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and process execution

Nice to Have

  • Experience in apparel, footwear, or retail product development
  • Familiarity with PLM systems (e.g., FlexPLM, Centric, or similar tools)
  • Understanding of materials, trims, and garment construction basics
  • Exposure to global sourcing or offshore vendor management

Why Join

You'll be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team working on dynamic product lines with opportunities to grow your career and make a tangible impact on the product creation process.
