We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist for Riveredge Hospital. Simply apply to the posting and discuss your interests with the hiring manager if you are selected to come in for an interview.

TheHuman Resources Generalistis responsible for providing support to the Human Resources Department, which includes applicant and new hire administration, employee relations, retention strategies, recruiting for vacant positions, conducting general employee orientations, maintaining all personnel records and files, responding to correspondence, and other HR related duties. This role is integral in creating a positive and lasting first impression, ensuring new employees feel welcomed, supported, and engaged from day one. The Human Resources Generalist may assist in organizing employee activities and provide coordination of employee and staff development in-service training. Remains compliant with applicable state, federal, and licensing requirements, as well as other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Performs full cycle recruitment for assigned positions.
  • Help coordinate and prepare for New Hire Orientation, staff onboarding requirements, and maintenance of staff education requirements.
  • Provides human resources support to the facility by assisting in all personnel issues within corporate policies and procedures and all federal and state guidelines
  • Prepares personnel files and maintain personnel records in accordance to facility and corporate personnel policies and guidelines
  • Audits personnel files, ensuring all information is current and accurate
  • Validates and updates licenses of all current employees through the appropriate licensing board and makes sure their files are updated
  • Input all personnel information and all status changes for current/term employees in HRIS
  • Provides consultation and training to facility management regarding employee relations issues, counseling and termination procedures as required
  • Monitors performance appraisal reminder system and mechanisms for processing salary transactions and recordkeeping.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in related field preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience as an administrative role in a hospital setting or Human Resources environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills
  • Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task and change direction quickly
  • Requires advanced computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with HRIS System(s) desired (e.g. Lawson, WorkDay, iCIMS)
