Ad Sales Marketer
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $67.16/hour
Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Ad Sales Marketer to support a global advertising organization focused on connecting brands with premium digital media experiences. This role is ideal for a strategic storyteller and marketing professional with extensive experience developing compelling B2B marketing content, managing complex RFP processes, and supporting advertising sales organizations. The successful candidate will partner closely with sales, marketing, editorial, and cross-functional teams to create persuasive proposals, sales materials, and strategic narratives that drive business growth. This role requires exceptional writing skills, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to rapidly translate advertiser objectives into compelling commercial solutions under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
RFP Strategy & Proposal Development
- Lead the development of strategic, customized RFP (Request for Proposal) responses for advertising clients and agency partners.
- Analyze advertiser briefs and business objectives to develop compelling recommendations and proposal strategies.
- Create persuasive narratives that effectively position advertising solutions, sponsorship opportunities, and integrated marketing programs.
- Manage proposal development from initial intake through final submission while ensuring accuracy and quality.
Sales Enablement & Marketing Content
- Develop high-quality sales enablement materials, presentations, pitch decks, case studies, and marketing collateral.
- Translate product capabilities, audience insights, and marketing opportunities into clear, compelling business narratives.
- Support sales teams with customized client-facing materials that address specific advertiser goals and objectives.
- Maintain and update foundational marketing materials as products, offerings, and business priorities evolve.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a central point of coordination between sales, marketing, editorial, and business stakeholders.
- Drive alignment on proposal strategy, messaging, positioning, and deliverables.
- Gather inputs from multiple teams and synthesize information into cohesive client-facing materials.
- Build strong relationships across geographically distributed and cross-functional organizations.
Creative Development
- Create visual concepts and mockups that help bring advertising programs and sponsorship opportunities to life.
- Enhance presentations and proposals with compelling visuals and supporting creative elements.
- Collaborate with design and creative teams when appropriate to strengthen proposal effectiveness.
Project Management
- Manage multiple concurrent RFPs and proposal requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Track timelines, deliverables, approvals, and stakeholder feedback to ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail while working under pressure and managing competing priorities.
- Communicate project status, risks, and requirements clearly to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience developing B2B marketing content, sales enablement materials, and strategic business communications.
- Extensive experience managing RFP processes and high-volume proposal development workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality proposals under aggressive timelines.
- Strong understanding of advertising, media, marketing, and commercial storytelling.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to create persuasive business narratives.
- Experience collaborating with sales, marketing, editorial, and cross-functional business teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proven ability to lead through influence and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting advertising sales organizations within digital media, publishing, streaming, or content platforms.
- Functional design skills with experience creating presentation materials, mockups, and client-facing visuals.
- Proficiency with presentation and design tools such as Keynote, PowerPoint, or similar platforms.

- Experience positioning advertising solutions across a variety of industry verticals and brand categories.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
