Bechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio. Bechtel will design and build Phase 1 of the Ohio One project, a total of2.5 million square feet, including600,000 square feetof cleanrooms. Construction will require as much steel as eight Eiffel Towers and as much concrete as the tallest skyscrapers. Bechtel will strengthen future economic development in the region by partnering with the North America Building Trades Unions and suppliers to create several thousand new jobs and work with local education organizations to implement new training programs that will support the future talent pipeline. Job Summary:
Architectural Field Engineerwillassistthe construction team in the technical aspects of the civilandarchitectural scope. Individual will provide direct support to superintendents and craft professionals, including, but not limited to, work package creation and maintenance, quality control, quantity verifications, material take-offs, material verifications, design change coordination, and general problem solving - all in support of meeting project cost and time schedules.The project involves a significant concrete and architectural scope. Candidate should be well versed in concrete operations and American Concrete Institute (ACI) Codes and Standards, with emphasis on concrete finishing, curing, and patching.Candidateshould have anunderstanding of architectural systems and be able to organize andcoordinate betweenconcrete operations and architectural installations. Candidateshould be able to proficiently work in high-paced environments and manage change while upholding Bechtel Safety and Quality standards. #LI-CL1 Major Responsibilities:
