Shift:

The regular hours for this position are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday from 6:00am to 6:15pm.

Job Description:

The Quality Assurance Technician 3 is responsible for performing detailed in-process and finished goods inspections to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and customer specifications. This role applies advanced inspection techniques, supports defect investigations, and partners closely with Engineering and Operations to maintain product quality in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. The position operates with moderate autonomy and contributes to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Olympus MX-50 microscopes and other precision inspection tools to perform defect inspections on advanced probing technology products.

  • Conduct in-process and finished goods inspections to ensure materials and products meet quality and customer requirements.

  • Identify, document, and generate reports for nonconforming materials or products.

  • Coordinate with Engineering and cross-functional teams to investigate root causes and support corrective actions.

  • Validate outgoing product data for accuracy and compliance with customer specifications, update inspection results and inventory records in quality systems.

  • Capture and document inspection images for analysis, traceability, and reporting

  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate inspection and quality records.

  • Use hand tools to assemble, inspect, and adjust mechanical assemblies as required.

  • Work collaboratively within a shift-based team environment, while also performing as an individual contributor to meet daily inspection and production targets.

  • Support operations and engineering activities as needed to meet quality and delivery commitments.

Pay Range:

$25.80 - $33.86

Pay Range Explained:

This role in Livermore, California pays between $25.80 and $33.86 per hour, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations. We offer a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), and paid time off. You'll also be eligible for quarterly profit-sharing bonuses and flexible spending or savings accounts.
