As the Industry Verticals Product Fellow, you will lead the strategy, development, and execution of innovative, disruptive B2B / B2C products that deliver measurable value. You will partner with customers across various industry verticals to define, build, and launch highly differentiated solutions. Leveraging deep expertise in product strategy, customer insights, and market analysis, you will shape initiatives that drive share, profitability, and industry leadership.

Essential Functions:

  • Strategic Thinking & Vision:Shape and drive a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with enterprise goals and addresses critical B2B / B2C market needs.
  • Product Lifecycle Management:Lead the entire product lifecycle from ideation and validation toGo-To-Market & Commercializationand end-of-life.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis:Serve as an advocate for industry-specific needs in all product development efforts by conducting customer research, analyzing trends, and gathering insights.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration:Lead initiatives with engineering, design, operations, and marketing teams to achieve high-yielding results and drive alignment across the organization.
  • Data & Analytics:Leverage analytics and customer feedback to guide strategy, measure impact, and optimize solutions, establishing KPIs to track progress.
  • Communication & Influence:Serve as a thought leader in industry verticals product / solutions innovation, representing the company externally and internally and presenting opportunities to senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership delivering measurable business results.
  • OEM automotive industry experience with knowledge across multiple segments.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with experience translating insights into strategy.
  • Product management and innovation experience, including roadmap development and prioritization.
  • Deep understanding of transportation, network operations, and supply chain solutions.
  • Logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience within industrial manufacturing or automotive.
  • Knowledge of product transportation and distribution across complex supply chain networks.
  • Expertise in industrial logistics, global transportation, and international trade.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with experience leveraging data, KPIs, and insights.
  • Proven ability to identify and deliver innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams (technology, engineering, operations).
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing team members

Location Details:

This position is eligible for remote work and may be located anywhere within the United States excluding AK, HI and U.S. territories, however if you live within the 50 miles radius of a campus you will be required to work at a FedEx campus location several times per week.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent directly related experience.

Minimum Experience:

10+ years in industry verticals product / solutions innovation, design, or development, with 3+ years in a senior or lead product management role. An advanced degree may substitute for experience.
