The role combines strategic vision, operational discipline, and people leadership to accelerate growth, deepen customer impact, and continuously improve how we go to market. The Senior Director - Global SMB Strategy & Growth role offers exceptional visibility and influence. You will partner closely with the Global SMB (GSMB) senior leadership team to shape executive decisions, strengthen our strategy and landing at scale, and lead through change with clarity and conviction. It is a unique opportunity to combine strategic leadership, organizational impact, and people development in one of Microsoft's most important growth areas. This role is accountable for defining and driving the strategy that enables Global SMB teams to achieve revenue, share, and consumption goals in close partnership with SMB Operating Unit sales teams, Channel, Vendor Digital Sales (VDS), Cloud and AI Solution Architects (CASA), and Marketing. This leader ensures that strategy is translated into clear execution plans, landed effectively at scale, and governed with rigor to deliver measurable business impact. Sales Strategy Enablement M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $155,800 - $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $202,400 - $303,600 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
